What Happens During a Free Remote Space Clearing Assessment?

October 10, 2026•6 min read

“But Laaaaiiiis, how can you assess my home when you’re not even in it?”

It’s one of the questions I’m asked most often as a space clearing expert, usually followed by another perfectly reasonable one:

“And what actually happens during the space clearing assessment?”

If you’ve noticed that your home feels uncomfortable, are moving somewhere new or have questions about what you perceive as spirit activity, you may be curious about space clearing without knowing where to begin. My free assessment gives us a starting point.

I’m Lais, an intuitive healer and space clearing expert with over 15 years of experience.

I work remotely with people, homes and land worldwide. You can book a free space clearing assessment at SpaceClearingAcademy.com.

Everything begins with your permission

Before exploring the energy of your home, I explain how I work and ask for your consent.

Your home is your personal space. Being able to work remotely doesn’t mean I consider it appropriate to connect with a property whenever I feel curious about it. Permission comes first.

The assessment also gives us a chance to understand your concerns. You don’t need to arrive with a spiritual explanation already prepared; describing what you’ve noticed is a useful beginning.

How I assess a home remotely

Once I enter a meditative state, I focus on the home with permission and notice what comes through.

An impression might arrive as an image, a feeling, a sensation or an intuitive sense of knowing. Sometimes I’m drawn to a particular room; sometimes the impressions concern the property as a whole.

This is what I mean when I talk about remote viewing and intuitive perception. I’m describing how I experience receiving information, rather than physically inspecting the home.

I don’t need to be sitting on your sofa to do this work, although I’m sure it’s lovely and I appreciate the imaginary invitation.

These impressions are part of my spiritual practice. I share them as my perceptions and interpretations, rather than treating them as independently verified facts about a property or its former occupants.

The role of my space clearing guides

I also work with a team of space clearing guides.

Depending on the case, I may connect with the home’s energy myself or ask my guides to assess it and communicate what they perceive. This is an intuitive choice rather than a fixed sequence I follow for every property.

If I sense something especially heavy, such as harmful spiritual influences or patterns I interpret as black magic or curses, I often choose to work through my guides.

It’s an approach that allows me to maintain boundaries within my practice. Loving my work doesn’t mean volunteering for every energetic adventure personally.

What I explore during the assessment

I look at several possible themes, guided by what emerges rather than assuming that every home contains the same issues.

Spirit presences: I explore whether my impressions suggest earthbound spirits, deceased loved ones or ancestral presences, and what their connection to the home might be. Within my approach, a presence doesn’t automatically mean something frightening or harmful.

The emotional history of the home: I may perceive themes connected to difficult experiences, such as divorce, grief, illness, burnout or financial distress. In my practice, I understand these as possible lingering emotional energies.

Connections to previous occupants: Sometimes I explore what I perceive as energetic cords or attachments connecting former occupants to the property.

The land beneath the home: I may also be drawn to the land’s energetic history, including patterns I interpret as vortexes or ley lines. These belong to my spiritual understanding of a place.

An assessment doesn’t establish what caused a health concern, a relationship difficulty or a property not selling. Those situations can have practical explanations that deserve attention too.

Every home has its own story

To me, every home has its own soul, which is part of why I love this work.

Two people might describe the same concern, yet the assessments can lead in different directions. One uncomfortable room may benefit from practical changes; another may bring up a theme I recommend exploring through space clearing.

I’m interested in what your particular home needs. The assessment helps me make an individual recommendation instead of applying the same approach everywhere.

People often contact me because they’ve noticed what feels like spirit activity, want a fresh energetic beginning before moving in or are struggling to sell a property. These are reasons to explore, rather than proof of a particular energetic problem.

Sometimes, you can take the next step yourself

A free assessment doesn’t automatically end with me recommending a paid session.

If I believe there are things you can comfortably try yourself, I’ll say so. I might share practical suggestions, a clearing technique or a relevant blog article.

Sometimes an uncomfortable corner needs attention, a little rearranging or a fresh personal touch. You’re allowed to begin there without turning the entire living room into a spiritual project.

If I recommend professional space clearing or land healing, I explain what stood out to me and why I believe that work could be useful.

What happens after the space clearing assessment?

I share my impressions and recommendation so you can consider your options.

The assessment itself isn’t the clearing session. Its purpose is to explore the situation and help us decide what a suitable next step might be.

You can ask questions, consider what I’ve shared and decide whether you’d like to work with me.

A few questions you might still have

Do I need to believe there are spirits in my home?

No. You can contact me because something feels uncomfortable or because you’re curious about the energy of your new home. You don’t need to decide on an explanation beforehand.

Will you automatically recommend a space clearing?

No. Sometimes I suggest steps you can take yourself. My recommendation depends on the individual assessment.

Can you assess a home in another country?

Yes. I work remotely with homes and land worldwide, so you don’t need to live near me to enquire.
