Haunted Objects and Psychometry | Live Space Clearing
Can objects be haunted or hold memory? Can antiques carry spirits? And what really happens during a live space clearing?
In this podcast episode, I worked live with haunted and energetically charged objects brought across continents, tuning into their history, their spirits, and their unresolved stories through psychometry.
Hi, I'm Lais. I am an intuitive healer, founder of the space clearing academy and I work with space clearing in a way that listens to what a home is holding and what the people inside it might need.
This blog post expands on that episode and offers deeper insight into how space clearing, haunted objects, and object consciousness intersect, especially for empaths and sensitive souls. But you can also choose to listen on Youtube or Spotify instead.

What Is Psychometry in Space Clearing?
Psychometry is the intuitive ability to read the energetic history of an object.
Everything that exists holds memory. Objects absorb emotional imprints, intentions, trauma, devotion, rituals, and sometimes spirits or nature beings connected to their origin. Through psychometry, a trained practitioner can perceive:
The emotional history attached to an object
Residual trauma or unresolved energy
Ancestral or nature spirits linked to the material
Protective or grounding qualities
Whether an object wants to stay, be cleared, or be returned
In space clearing, psychometry is an essential tool. It allows us to understand why a home, room, or object feels heavy, unsettling, or alive. I do so without needing to touch an object as I work remotely.
Haunted Objects and Energetic Travel Across Continents
In this episode, my guests joined me live from Istanbul to explore two powerful objects brought from Malaysia to Turkey:
An antique jade amulet
A rare piece of Blood Dragon Wood, traditionally used for protection and grounding
When ritual objects, antiques, or sacred materials travel far from their place of origin, they often carry unresolved grief, displacement, or longing. This does not make them dangerous, but it does make them active.
Many haunted objects are not malicious. They are simply unheard.
The Jade Amulet and the Nature Spirits Within
One of the most intense moments of this episode involved an antique jade amulet that caused severe physical and emotional reactions in a house guest.
During the live psychometric reading, I perceived three nature spirits connected to the jade. These beings were not harmful, but deeply distressed. They had been removed from their original cave or mountain region and transported repeatedly across countries.
Sensitive people can feel this distress physically. Symptoms may include:
Dizziness or nausea
Fear without a clear source
Nightmares or sleep disturbances
Sudden emotional overwhelm
Feeling watched or crowded energetically
During the live session, I guided these spirits home and neutralised the emotional pain stored within the jade. Once cleared, the amulet shifted from distressing to supportive, reconnecting with its guardian rather than overwhelming the space.
This is a common outcome in ethical space clearing. We do not fight spirits. We listen.
Blood Dragon Wood and Protective Energies
The second object was a piece of Blood Dragon Wood, traditionally used across spiritual traditions for grounding, protection, and stabilisation.
Through psychometry, its energy came through as:
Deeply grounding
Protective rather than aggressive
Supportive for people doing inner work
Helpful for nervous system regulation
Unlike the jade amulet, this object did not require clearing. Its energy was intact, held with integrity by those who sourced and shaped it. This distinction is important.
Not all powerful objects are haunted. Some are simply allies.
Live Space Clearing on the Podcast
This episode was recorded live and unscripted. I tuned into each object in real time and performed a space clearing while listeners witnessed the energetic shifts.
This kind of live work shows what space clearing really looks like behind the scenes:
No drama
No fear-based language
Deep listening and ethical intervention
Respect for spirits, objects, and people
If you have ever felt unsure about an object in your home, this episode offers clarity and reassurance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are haunted objects always dangerous?
No. Most haunted objects carry unresolved emotional or spiritual energy, not malicious intent. Many simply want to be acknowledged or cleared.
Can objects really hold memory?
Yes. Objects absorb emotional imprints, rituals, trauma, and intention, especially if they are old, handmade, or sacred.
Should I throw away an object that feels bad?
Not necessarily. Often, clearing or understanding the object resolves the issue. Throwing it away can sometimes worsen the disturbance, especially if the energy attached to the object decides to stay in the home.
Can space clearing be done remotely?
Yes. Energy is not limited by distance. Remote space clearing and psychometry are effective when done ethically.
How do I know if I am sensitive to object energy?
If you feel drained, dizzy, emotional, or uneasy around certain items, especially antiques, you may be sensitive to object consciousness.
Is psychometry something anyone can learn?
Some people are naturally gifted, others can learn with training. Discernment and grounding are essential.
